Amstel Life is a blog about open adoption, written by a 24-year-old birthmother. Now a North Carolina State University graduate and Marketing & Public Relations professional in Raleigh, Amy describes herself as a pro-life advocating, Jesus-loving, watermelon-craving, accident-prone, recovering perfectionist who happens to be a birthmom. When Amy was just 18-years-old and a senior in high school, she and her boyfriend Robbie placed their daughter, Deanna Marie, in an open adoption with a wonderful Christian family (who happen to be HUGE NC State fans).
